Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
Job Description
Under the supervision of the technical advisor, the Heavy Vehicle Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the company's fleet of trucks and tankers. Using diagnostic tools, the mechanic will identify mechanical failures, perform necessary repairs, and ensure all systems operate efficiently before returning vehicles to service.
Key tasks include repairing defective components, conducting routine mechanical maintenance such as tire and brake changes, lubrication, and general servicing. The mechanic will also inspect and maintain electrical and electronic systems in tankers, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Occasionally, this role requires working at heights and lifting heavy loads.
This position is ideal for mechanics with strong diagnostic skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high safety and performance standards. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.

Job Requirements
DEP in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics
Strong ability to diagnose mechanical failures
Dexterity and precision in repairs
Ability to work at heights occasionally
Ability to lift, push, and pull loads over 25kg
Experience in tanker maintenance (an asset)
PEP certification (an asset)
Welding skills (an asset)
