Milk Collection Expert – Local Dairy Transport
Job Description
As a Milk Collection Expert, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and hygienic transportation of raw milk from farms to processing plants in the Chaudière-Appalaches region. Each day begins with a thorough pre-trip inspection of your truck to ensure road safety and compliance. You will then proceed to multiple farm locations to collect milk, following strict sanitary procedures to prevent contamination and ensure product integrity.
During deliveries, you must handle loading and unloading efficiently, following all food safety regulations. You will also be required to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold, which requires adaptability and resilience. Attention to detail is critical, as you will need to accurately record collection and delivery information while maintaining proper communication with dispatch and dairy processors.
This role is ideal for individuals who value independence on the road, enjoy working in a structured and organized environment, and take pride in being part of the essential supply chain that delivers fresh dairy products. Additional duties may be assigned by supervisors as needed to support smooth operations.
