Job Description

As a Class 1 Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of liquid bulk products over long-distance routes. This includes conducting detailed pre-trip inspections to ensure your truck and tanker are in top condition before departure. You will be required to load and unload liquid bulk materials, using hoses and pumps with precision to maintain product integrity and adhere to all safety and environmental guidelines.

This role requires working in various weather conditions, including extreme cold and heat, as deliveries must be completed regardless of seasonal changes. You will navigate diverse destinations across Québec, Ontario, and Northern Québec, ensuring timely deliveries to a variety of clients. Throughout each trip, you must follow all transportation regulations, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate effectively with dispatch and clients.

Ideal candidates are experienced long-haul drivers who can work independently, prioritize safety, and adapt to the challenges of long-distance logistics. Additional responsibilities may be assigned to support the overall efficiency of operations.

Job Requirements

Valid Class 1 FM driver’s license

Clean driving record with no violations

Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy trucks

DEP in Truck Transport (an asset but not required)

Strong safety-first attitude

Annual safety bonus of 5%

60-hour workweek, including one weekend out of two or three

No waiting time at customer locations & empty return trips
